Low-flow toilets

Non water-conserving toilets consume an average of 20 gallons of water per person, per day and represent about 30% of  indoor household water use.  Low-flow toilets reduce consumption by 20% or more which translates to a savings of 1500 gallons per person, per year.

High-efficiency Faucets (HEF’s)

Standard faucets flow at 2.2 or more gallons per minute (gpm) and represent 15% of indoor home water usage.  WaterSense-labeled HEF’s use no more than 1.5 gpm reducing the flow by 30% without sacrificing performance
